Veep and Bridget Jones actor Sally Phillips narrates Alexandra Potter's audiobook for Pan Macmillan

Sally Phillips has recorded the audiobook of Confessions of a Forty-Something F**k Up, Alexandra Potter's first novel with Macmillan. Released on 31 December 2020 in audio, hardback and ebook, the novel 'tells the story of Nell Stevens and is a book for anyone who’s ever worried their life isn’t going to plan'. Rights have been sold in ten countries, including in Germany, where the book became a bestseller last month. Phillips is an actor, writer and comedian known for roles in I'm Alan Partridge, Smack the Pony, Green Wing and Miranda, alongside the roles of Clare, in Radio 4’s Sony Award-winning Clare in the Community, Shazzer in the Bridget Jones trilogy, and Minna Hakkinen, former Finnish PM in Veep. Potter said: "As a long-time fan of Sally Phillips I am over the moon; there is no-one better to narrate the story of Nell and Cricket."
